FRENCH POLYNESIA, AN ARCHIPELAGO OF BEAUTY

FRENCH POLYNESIA,
AN ARCHIPELAGO
OF BEAUTY

5 archipelagos, 118 islands, a sea area as large as Europe 17,000 kilometres away.

The myth of the paradisiac island comes from breath-taking landscape with turquoise lagoons, lands covered in lush vegetation, coral reefs and palm-lined beaches.

From Bougainville to Gauguin, Tahiti has built its magical reputation years after years, centuries after centuries. Through written traditions and oral speeches, the island has been described countless times as an earthly paradise. Among the strongest symbols of this Eden, one can find the praise of natural beauty with the “vahine” alongside on analogy of freedom, which takes its roots in the famous Bounty’s wake.

The Tahitian Pearl cannot be imagined outside of the Polynesian archipelagos, which are the only ones on Earth to produce the most exquisite sea jewels.

Nor coral, even black or carmine, nor other pearls, even marble-sized, could match the sumptuous gems growing in the French Polynesian lagoons. Therefore Robert Wan chose to own his own private islands in order to fully benefit from the islands properties to culture the highest pearl quality.
